Pangalawa, I'm not in the writing mode these past days. Hihihi.
1. Kawawang Marian.
2. To the rescue si pareng Val. Isang nurse at elementary bully ni Marian. Nakarelate ako, infairness. Yung lalaking inaaway-away ka lang nung elementary, magkakagusto sa'yoo in the end. The difference is, hindi naman nanligaw sakin yung nambubully sakin nung elem. :D
3. Pagpapaselos ni Marian kay Miguel. Infairness naman at nagseselos naman si Miguel. May kilala akong ganyan eh. Pero syempre, discreet sa pagpapakita ng pagseselos.
4. Hello Miguel the Knight in Shining casket! Este, armor pala. Walangyang Val yan!
5. Pagiging best ate in the world ni Marian dahil huling araw na niya sa mundo.
Hihihi! Well, kinilig ako sa public confession ni fafa Miguel. For sure maraming nainggit ng bongabels kay Marian. Hehehe! Or makakilala akong matchmaker na may free services. Hahaha!
9. Ang party. Ang trying hard na English ni Marian. Haaaay! I can only imagine how awkward it was to stay on a place na pilit kang pinalalayo. And, Marian did what she thought was right, ang umalis at lumayo sa buhay ni Miguel. Minsan ganun talaga eh. So sad, Marian bebe. So sad.
Bwahaha! YUN LANG? CAPITAL LETTERS PARA INTENSE! YOOOHOOOOO! hahahahah
11. Ang pagdating ng ating pinakamamahal na fafa! Ang galing mo, Miguel! You're just at the right timing, baby. Hahahahah!
12. Ang happily ever after! Propose agad. Yes agad! Papatagalin pa ba yan? Hihih
Hmm. It's a nice story, and I'm sure mag-eenjoy ang fans ni Heart Yngrid sa pagbabasa nito. :D
Rating: 7
*unting hugot pa* :D

I LOVE YOU TO DEATH by Heart Yngrid
Have you ever said that line
to someone special? Hmm.
Hindi pa rin ako maka-get over
So,
2. May something in common
kami ni author, ang necrophobia. Ang pagkakaiba nga lang, nakakapunta pa naman
ako sa mga funerals AS LONG AS MARAMI AKONG KASAMA.
kami. Nakahinga ako ng maluwag after that. Pero bumalik ang hilakbot at takot
ko ng nagku-kwento na ang aming embalmer.
3. Back to the story. Gusto
funeral parlors? Yung may nag-aabang sa ospital ng mamamatay? Hmm. Na-curious
tuloy ako.
ang negosyo ng kanyang pamilya, even if that means forgetting herself once in a
while.
8. Ang dalawang BFF, sina
Mane at Gigi.
Maging stalker
din kayo ni Miguel. Hahaha! Ang akin lang, masyadong pa-fall si Kuya.
10. Ang pagsubo ng hotdog.
Hindi maka-get over ang boyfriend ko sa eksenang hotdog. Well, maging ako
Hahaha! Joke lang. :D
11. Stalker mode si Marian. Reminds
me of someone. Hahaha!
13. Minsan talaga, mag ingat
kayo pag may sinabihan kayong bading. Baka laflafin ka ng bonggels. Unless you
want it more than he does. *wink wink*
14. Actually, feeling ko
masyadong mahaba ang kwento. Puro additional information lang kung paano
nade-dedma ang ating bidang babae. Kung paano siya sinasaktan ng bonggang
bongga. At kung paano siya inaapi. Cliche.
15. Jump to lamay scene. Ang
sarap ibaon sa lupa ni Aling Poleng! Nakikiramay lang yung tao, kung anu-ano pa
ang nasabi. Pati tuloy ang love life niya, isinama. Haay.
I hope.
When it comes
to relationships, dapat give and take.
*based on experience*
Jump to couple’s casket. Yum yum
yum!
18. Pusong bato. Theme song
na yan ng maraming tao.
19. Move on. Yun lang. Haha!
20. “May love life lang,
Haha!
Ano naman ang masasabi mo? :D
21. Ang pagdating ni Val. Si
Val na walang malay. Haha!
Okey. Book two naman? Naaah!
Mamaya. :D

ATALANTA by Fleur de Liz
Be good to me. No negativities allowed in here.
ATALANTA is one of my first LIB books. Lahat yun ay nabili ko sa MIBF; thanks to their discount.
Without further ado, here are my reactions about the story:
Well, I think it's better na ginawa nilang black yung lips sa cover photo. :D
2. First time kong nakabasa ng story na nauna ang man's POV. Usually kasi puro babae ang may bonggang bonggang POV.
4. Raphael's personality is one of a kind. I can only imagine his dad while thinking na nading si Raphael dahil nga sa single ito. Hihihi.
Hindi tama na i-bully ang sino man since you don't know their story. Gaya ni Atalanta.
7. "Gary had a great fear with doctors and hospitals." - Page 9. Hay naku, Gary! It's time to overcome your fear! Haha! Nakarelate ako sa kanya. Takot din ako sa hospitals. Haaay. Well, salamat sa info tungkol sa saging at tinik. Ma-try nga yan minsan. :D
8. LOVE LETTER. Stalker. Perfect.
Haay. Sarap itusok sa flag pole. Hahaha! (Bitter much?)
10. Si Missy, ang dakilang vice president. Marami-rami din ang role niya dito, including yung lunch date with Atalanta's siblings.
11. "But I won't change just because people demand me to change. I like being alone. I don't care if people are afraid of me." - (page 41) PERFECT! Fashion for me means being comfortable of what I'm wearing. Duh? That's waste of time and effort.
12. "Now, everyone knew and there was no turning back." Wala man lang akong nasaksihan na tulad nito in real life, and I really wish naranasan ko ito. Hahah! On the other hand, malutong naman ang pagkakasabi ni Atalanta na "You're going nowhere, Mister Larriega. Your feelings don't matter to me." Hayun. Rejected for the nth time si kuya. Haaaay.
Hehe!
Hehe!
16. Yung panunuod ni Atalanta nung soccer game. <3
17. "Then I need to apologize to you. Because I can't do that" - Hanapin niyo kung saan na eksena yan. Kilig much. :D
18. First lunch date. Another must read. <3
Can I Have This Dance from High School Musical. Hahah! Gusto ko lang sabihin. :D
20. "Mr. Heartthrob and Miss Nightmare." It happens. Di nga lang masyadong halata.
21. Fast forward. Pagkadiskubre ng sikreto ni Atalanta. Haaay! ('Cuz they're created for that role) Idagdag mo pa ang mahaderang nanay ni Atalanta na binalak siyang itago ulit. Hmmm
22. Ulan scene. Tears were rushing through my cheeks while I was reading that scene. Well, affected naman talaga ako. At sadyang madali lang akong mapaiyak. Hehehe.
23. I love the ending. Masaya yun, for sure.
However, it bothered me. Sorry. Hehehe! On page 42, "He eyes were still closed so he didn't have any idea.." Dapat kasi HIS yung ginamit na word. Just sayin'.
25. Anong ginagawa ng DP ni Sinagtala dito? Hahaha! If you could notice, meron kayong makikita na black circle na may star sa loob. Well, LIB should answer that for me.
So I have this scale of 1-10, one being the lowest and 10 the highest rating sa mga foreign books na binabasa ko. Gagawin ko rin yun para kay Atalanta. Hmm. I'll give Atalanta an 8. :D
Basahin niyo na ang story na ito. For more information about the author, visit niyo na rin ang Booklat account niya to read more of her works. Here it is:

REFRESHING THE SWEET SIDE OF ME
This poem was written about a year ago, and was posted in our group blog. As I scan the posts in that page, I wonder if this poem is still worth reposting. I do hope you'll enjoy this poem, with all the confused and contradicting thoughts that you can read here. Criticisms are allowed, as long as you say it in a proper way. Toodles! :D
JJA..
It’s so absurd, you may not believe it;
But this is so true..
From day one my attention was captured by you.
I know this day will come that you’ll know the truth.
It’s just that I never expected this is too soon.
You never know how excited I am when I was transferred to your team.
It wasn’t a good news for me though, since I know I have to fight the feelings.
Until I sat beside you, and you knew there was nothing else behind the way I look at you..
That moment when I said I’ll never take my eyes off you..
Every time you ask who’s the mysterious guy.
My mind keeps on asking so many why’s.
Why do you have to know?
Why do you even care to ask?
Why are you so interested?
You said it was just natural curiosity..
I assumed something that’s not right..
I never told you that I simply look at you when you’re asleep..
I always wish you won’t wake up and catch me staring at you.
It’s funny that I can watch over you and work on my assignment at the same time..
I guess I never want to miss the opportunity that I can freely look at you.. Look at you that close..
Somebody might call you a frog, but you’ll always be my prince.
I’ll deal with your natural curiosity rather than calling you my paparazzi..
I’m just sad that I deleted my chat history..
‘Cause that’s where I can track my joyous moments with you..
You’re a great TL, everyone knows that..
It’s such an honor to work with you in a short span of time.
Whatever happens in the next days, I’m sure your tips will always be on my mind.
I’m sure I’ll remember you all this time.
Please act like you knew nothing.
Please act like you never read my post.
Never stop smiling.
Don’t feel creepy when I tell you I’ll never take my eyes off you.
I just want to cherish the little moments that I can have with you.
Moments when I’m still here and you’re just there...
Love,
Huntress

IF I STAY by Gayle Forman
This book have been recommended by my friend, Xerlyn, about a year ago. Due to my "obsession" with vampire novels, I just finished reading it yesterday.
Here's a blurb that I found on the author's website:
On a day that started like any other…
Mia had everything: a loving family, a gorgeous, adoring boyfriend, and a bright future full of music and full of choices. Then, in an instant, almost all of that is taken from her. Caught between life and death, between a happy past and an unknowable future, Mia spends one critical day contemplating the one decision she has left—the most important decision she’ll ever make.
Simultaneously tragic and hopeful, this is a romantic, riveting and ultimately uplifting story about memory, music, living, dying, loving.
The accident scene broke my heart. I feel like I don't want to finish the whole novel 'cause I think it won't make any sense anymore. Who would love to live alone? I mean your parents are already dead and you still don't know where your little brother is. However, the twist and turns of the scenarios made me decide that I should finish the book. Finish it up to the very last page.
I can imagine myself at Mia's position - physical body that's oblivion to anything around her while the soul was lingering at the hospital. It's heartbreaking for her to see her Gran and Gramps watching her suffer, as well as her best friend and boyfriend. She's overwhelmed with the presence of caring nurses and social workers, as well as the presence of family friends.
This story proves that love conquers all. Love will make you want to stay, even if you think everything was already in a losing battle. Love will make you feel strong when you think you're at the edge of the cliff. Love will make everything possible. Love will put your hopes up.
Love's a bitch, or so they say. But in this novel, it's one of the reasons why she chose to stay. Love from her grandparents, from her family members, from her friends, and from Adam.
The question is, "What would happen to Adam's promises now that she stayed?"
Time to read book two, Where She Went.
Final Rating: 8
Yes, I'm a fan of tragic novels. But I wanna read the second book for my official final rating for the series. Hehe!

THE FAULT IN OUR STARS by John Green
We usually blame our "stars", our destiny, and our fate in every negative thing that happens to us. We always have to blame someone, or even ask what's wrong with us. We always have to find fault somewhere to release yourself from the tortures of life.
I guessed that's the reason why John Green entitled this novel The Fault in Our Stars.
Let me just remind you that this is just a book review, not the movie review. I'd be posting another article about the comparison between the two. Moreover, suggestions and constructive criticisms are all welcome.
So, here's a blurb I've found on the Internet:
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.
It's not an ordinary story about a cancer patient. I used to hear stories of cancer patients who are trying hard to live a normal life. Hazel was different. She preferred to be alone. She preferred to be indifferent. Attending the support group meant invading her lovely, little world. Meeting Augustus was never in her priority, moreover falling in love with him.
I love the fact that John Green used another fictional novel in his novel. An Imperial Affliction wasn't a real book, and Peter van Houten is just another fictional character. Technically, he just wrote two stories in one book; the story of Anna and Hazel.
After reading An Imperial Affliction, Hazel was left with lots of questions; what happens to Anna's mom, to the Dutch tulip man, and to Anna's hamster. You know what? I wanna send an email to John Green right now to ask him about what happens to Hazel, to her family, to Isaac, and to Augustus' parents.
I love how JG used the novel to share how love works in wonders. When you're in love, you'll have all the reason to live and to fight for your love. Hazel's love for her parents motivates her and her lungs to continue breathing. Same with her love for Augustus. They have to live longer for each other, and for their families.
Please add The Fault in Our Stars in your reading lists! It's worth the time.
Final Rating: 9
Like Hazel, I'm always saving my 10! :D

Wonderful Wednesday
It's a wonderful Wednesday indeed! Aside from the fact that I have less sleep, I'm really happy with whatever had happened today. One thing I wanna share to you is my invention dish. I named it, Chicken in Pineapple Juice!
Let me share a quick background of this dish. My friend cooked this when he was staying at my apartment. He never told me how it was cooked, so I kinda "experimented" on how I'm gonna end up with that dish.
Before anything else, I wanna tell you that I won't be able to upload photos of the dish. My cam would ruin the awesomeness of the dish, so I decided not to take any photo. If I'll have a better cam next time, I promise to publish it here.
Moreover, I wanna warn you that I'm not really good at cooking. I might give you inaccurate measurements of the ingredients. I suggest you follow your intuition if you're going to try this dish. Hehe!
Lastly, I'm not promoting any company for this dish. You can use any product that you wanted and you preferred. I guess you knew more than I do when it comes to cooking, so again, trust your instinct. :)
So.. let's get this started!
The ingredients I used were:
1 small onion
5 cloves of garlic
1/2 kl of chicken (drumsticks)
powdered juice (pineapple flavor)
3 to 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
salt and pepper for seasoning
Procedure:
1. Prepare your pineapple juice. Dissolve two tablespoons of pineapple powder in a glass of water. Make sure that you'll use enough water to soften and cook the chicken. You can add more pineapple juice powder if you want more sweetness.
TIP: You can also use those ready-made pineapple juices in cans. (Like Del Monte Pineapple or whatever) Just don't put too much water that might remove it's taste in the dish.
2. Mix your chopped garlic, onion, and chicken in a frying pan. You can also use pots if you don't have any pan that's deep enough to hold much water.
3. Add four tablespoons of soy sauce.
4. Add your pineapple juice.
5. Cook until the chicken is soften. It could take about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the class of meat you've bought.
6. Season with salt and pepper. If needed, you can add more soy sauce. Again guys, it depends on your preference.
NOTE: It's faster to cook younger chicken meat than those from adult ones. According to the Internet. Hehe!
AND YOU'RE DONE!
I admit, it will look like a simple chicken adobo. However, the taste of the pineapple juice should overpower the taste of the soy sauce. That's actually the twist in that dish. :)
So.. here's another Filipino dish with a sweet twist. If you're gonna try this, hope you'll tell me what happened.
Thanks for reading! :D
PS: This is dish #1 for my bucket list! ♥
